annual general meeting
The next Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 27 September 2023 at 7pm. The meeting is a chance to hear about the work of the Trust over the preceding year, hear updates on current projects and elect new officers and provides an opportunity for discussion. All members and those wishing to become a member are welcome to attend, but only full members are eligible to vote.
At each AGM, three of the Trust’s Directors step down and three new Directors are elected. If you would like to be considered for Director, please complete a nomination form. Nominated persons must be proposed and seconded by members of the Trust and must be present at the AGM. Those members proposing and seconding a prospective Director are not obligated to attend. Please send in your nomination form at least 24 hours before the AGM.
During the AGM, every member shall be entitled to vote on each matter that requires a vote at the meeting. For members who are unable to attend the meeting, you will be able to have your vote by nominating a proxy. Anyone who wishes to nominate a proxy for the AGM should complete the Proxy Form, and return the completed form to email@example.com. Proxy nominations must be received 48 hours before the AGM and the nominated proxy must also be a member of The Trust. Full details can be found in articles 48-57 of the Articles of Association.
Papers for the AGM will be published here at least 14 days before the meeting.
We apologise that, at the time of posting meeting papers, our formal accounts are not yet ready to be published. We hope to have these ready in time for the meeting itself. In the meantime, the Trustee’s Annual Report is available in draft form.
