Whithorn Way and Glenluce Abbey

May 22, 2023

We’re delighted that one of our iconic local historic and visitor sites Glenluce Abbey is set to re-open in the coming months after high-level masonry inspections as a safety precaution were conducted across many sites in the country the past year by Historic Environment Scotland. If you’re planning some walks in our beautiful area this spring and summer such as the Whithorn Way, Glenluce Abbey is a definite must to visit along the way.

We have Whithorn Way route maps and passports available at the Hall and in our Community Shop. You can also scan the ‘waypoint’ QR Code displayed in the front window of our Hall on your mobile device as you walk through the Village, to register and track your progress along the route.
